Hair Loss Treatment for Windsor, Colorado

A clinical trichologist, about 25 minutes up Harmony Road.

Hair loss help for Windsor starts with an answer, not a treatment

Search for hair loss treatment in Windsor and most of what comes up is a med spa offering PRP, injections or microneedling. Those can have a place. But each one is a treatment chosen before anyone has measured what is actually happening at your scalp.

A trichologist works the other way around. Amy examines the scalp under magnification, measures density and miniaturization, and asks about the last six to twelve months — health, stress, medications — before anything is suggested. Thinning, shedding, a widening part and an itchy or flaking scalp are different problems with different causes, and the answer decides what is worth doing next.

If what she finds needs a doctor, you are told to see one, and told why.

What a trichologist is, and why it is worth the drive

A trichologist is to your hair and scalp what a dermatologist is to the skin on your face: a specialist in one thing, trained to examine, measure and treat the hair and scalp.

Clinical trichologist Amy Gray trained at the US Trichology Institute in 2019.
Behind the chair since 1995 A licensed cosmetologist for three decades, so the hair itself is familiar territory.
The whole picture Also a certified nutrition coach, a personal trainer and a Pilates instructor, so the internal half of hair loss is never handed off to somebody else.

More about Amy

When people book a scalp evaluation

While it is changing More hair in the shower, a part that is getting wider, or shedding that started two to four months after something else did.
When products have not worked Usually because nothing established what was driving the hair loss first. The evaluation is the step that was skipped.
Before a decision Considering hair replacement or a treatment elsewhere, and wanting to know what you are actually working with.
Before anything is wrong A baseline while your density is still good, so any future change is measured against you rather than against an average.

When someone is first seen changes what is still on the table. A follicle that is still there has options a scarred one does not.

What happens at your scalp evaluation

Sixty minutes in the Fort Collins studio, measuring the things that change before anything is visible in the mirror.

Microscopic scalp analysis A magnified look at the follicle itself, the part of the appointment nothing else replaces.
Density and miniaturization Follicular units per square centimeter in the same marked zones each visit, and how fine the hairs are growing back.
Inflammation, sebum and buildup The scalp environment around the follicle opening, often the most fixable part of the picture.

You leave with a digital file of the findings. On later visits the same things are measured again, the same way, so you can see whether what you are doing is working.

How the clinical scalp evaluation works

Hair loss treatment options after the evaluation

Everything below follows from what the evaluation finds. You are never asked to choose a treatment before anyone has looked.

Hair loss analysis and epigenetic scans A deeper look at nutrient patterns, stress load and environmental factors, from a few hairs taken at the root. See hair loss analysis
Nutrition coaching Coaching from a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach who also reads your scalp, so the internal work is anchored to the findings. See nutrition coaching
Hair replacement for women and men Non-surgical systems for thinning, alopecia and total loss, fitted, cut and colored in the studio. See hair replacement
CRLab CNC hair systems A custom hair prosthetic made from a 3D scan of your own scalp, from an official CRLab partner. See CRLab CNC systems
